What are Feather Flags Made Of?

     The actual flags are constructed of a durable and lightweight fabric, while the frames are made of aluminum. This can include polyester, nylon, denier nylon or any weatherproof material that flows easily in the wind. Part of the appeal with feather flags are their unique and color designs. The fabric can be screen printed in full color (4 color process) and the messages are large enough to be seen clearly from 300 feet or more.

     A single feather flag can stand anywhere from a 1 meter, up to more than 5 meters (or higher). The fabric is then attached to aluminum poles, which are placed on a stabilizing plate for extra security. The bases also have added feature, they can be stationary, have a spring or even be spinning.

     With the stationary base, the sign’s basic design is very attention grabbing, but when mounted on a spring or spinning base, they can literally dance in the air. Along with a bright, multicolored design it can be a fun and effective way of presenting information, which takes a simple banner and turns it into a kaleidoscope of color and motion.

     Feather flags can range anywhere from a smaller version of 1M high to huge banners over 5M high, with a width from 12-48 inches.

How Long Do They Last?

     Since feather flags are typically used outdoors, in the sun and wind, they may start to fade or fray around the edges in as little as 12 months on constant outdoor use, so be prepared. If you are only using these banners on special occasions, seasonally, taking it down during bad weather and extreme windy conditions, your banner will honestly last much longer.

     However, once you have purchased the base. pole, etc.  You can also just order the flags to replace or change with a new design should you need to. And shipping etc is very cheap just for the flags.

How Much Do Feather Flags Cost?

     Pricing can greatly vary depending on quantity. You should always expect to pay more for a good quality product. The average cost in Australia for a standard 4M feather flag might be anywhere between $300-$600 (and up). However we will offer a discounted price if you purchase more than one.
